Custom modules
Quyntess is not a system house, but we do have extensive system development skills. We always try to use packaged application software for your maximum advantage, for purposes of standardization, cost reduction and upward compatibility.
However, applying a completely standardized system - even if optimally configured - can be relatively easily copied by your competitors. For this reason, Quyntess often supplies additional components that directly support your company's Unique Selling Points (USPs), such as industry-specific extensions that are not covered by any standard software.
Our Industry Consultant is usually the one who will work with you to define your USPs and the extent to which they should be supported with a specific solution. The consultant will then call in a Solution Architect to design the component. Generally, this custom solution will work in conjunction with the application software as an extension or plug-in. However, stand-alone modules feeding data into or drawing data from the standard application are also possible. Over the years, we've acquired substantial experience in building this custom code in such a way as to isolate it from the standard code, so you can easily upgrade to a more recent version of the standard software.
Our Development Team has experience in working on both client server and web-based platforms. They work mainly with Visual Basic, Java/J2EE/JSP/HTML, XSL/XML and Oracle (PL/) SQL.
